Syngenta (NYSE: SYT) will acquire Nidera Seeds from COFCO International, a Chinese grains trader, the companies announced Monday. Syngenta was acquired by ChemChina this year, and has said that with the new owner, the company was focused on boosting its seeds business, including through such acquisitions. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
