EPA, Army Corps seek delay to WOTUS start date

The EPA and the Army Corps of Engineers sent to the White House a proposed rule on Friday delaying the effective date of of the Waters of the United States regulation to give the administration more time to craft a new version of rule, according to an agency spokeswoman. EPA declined to specify the new effective date for the regulation, also called the Clean Water Rule. Nor would it say if the proposed rule would make other changes. The notice will appear on the OMB's website this morning.
