Tesla knew just where to look when the California company decided to expand its business in manufacturing electric cars: China. The country has moved quickly to fill a leadership void created by the United States when President Donald Trump rolled back American efforts to fight climate change. And, in a development likely to irritate the businessman-turned-president, China is making money doing it.
