In the latest drought monitor released by the Drought Mitigation center on Thursday, North Carolina’s Abnormally Dry conditions increased from 43.6% to an even 46%.  The area of moderate drought also increased from just under 8.5% to about 13.5%.  The abnormally dry conditions increased in the Coastal Plain southward from last week’s reading, and the area of moderate drought, which was ...
