Current and former tobacco growers have received mailings about class action lawsuits against the U.S. Tobacco Cooperative (Flue-Cured Tobacco Cooperative Stabilization).  The Speaks vs. US Tobacco Cooperative, Inc. lawsuit has reached a $24 million settlement (awaits court approval on January 19, 2018).  A claim form must be submitted by May 26, 2018.
