Soybean production at 68 million bushels is up 18% from 2016.
Peanut production at 484 million pounds is up 38% from last year.
Corn for grain production at 116 million bushels is down 4% from 2016.
Upland cotton production at 735,000 bales is up 114% from last year.

CHICKEN EGGS
South Atlantic Region: Broiler-Type eggs in incubators on October 1, 2017 totaled 248,259,000. The total was up 4% from the October 1, 2016 total of 239,194,000 eggs. The total number of Egg-Type eggs in incubators on October 1, 2017 increased 1% from 4,734,000 eggs in 2016 to 4,926,000.
