Today’s Topic: NCDA&CS pesticide disposal program still collecting after 37 years

North Carolina was the first state in the nation to have a Pesticide Disposal Assistance Program. Since that time we have collected and properly disposed of over 3.6 million pounds of pesticides.These are materials that through this program has stayed out of our landfills and waterways because they were properly disposed of. Listen to Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler talk to the Southern Farm Network on the success of this program and how it helps farmers, homeowners and the environment.
