British American Tobacco Plc said Thursday that it “continues to perform well” in the initial months after purchasing full ownership of Reynolds American Inc. BAT completed July 25 its $54.5 billion purchase of the 57.8 percent of Reynolds it did not already hold. Legacy Reynolds shareholders own 19 percent of BAT.
