Swiss court cancels all publicly-held shares of Syngenta

A Swiss court has canceled all publicly-held registered shares of Syngenta AG (NYSE: SYT), the pesticides and seeds company said Monday. The delisting of Syngenta shares from the SIX Swiss Exchange follows the takeover of the company by ChemChina earlier this year. ChemChina, officially China National Chemical Corp., acquired Syngenta in a $43 billion deal, gaining support from a majority of the Swiss company’s shareholders in May.
