Farmers will find new label requirements on restricted-use pesticides containing auxin this year, and that means they will need to take a workshop on how to properly apply these products before they can be used. In cooperation with N.C. Cooperative Extension Service, we held workshops across the state in 2017 on auxin products. With the new rules, farmers will have to take a workshop regardless of if he has taken one before. Watch for an update on location and dates of workshops at www.ncagr.com, in the Agricultural Review newspaper and on the department’s Facebook page.
