Trump names 2 state USDA program leaders

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has two new state-level leaders in North Carolina. President Donald Trump appointed Len McBride as executive director of the USDA’s North Carolina Farm Service Agency and named Bob Chandler Jr. as head of the state’s USDA Rural Development office earlier this month. Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue recently announced the promotions along with a slate of FSA and USDA Rural Development state executives.
