After serving eight years in the state house, Reidsville resident Bert Jones has announced week that he won’t seek re-election for the 65th District seat.“It has been an honor and privilege for me to serve the citizens of our great state for four terms in the North Carolina House of Representatives,” said Jones in a prepared statement. “I’ve been encouraged by people who care deeply about our nation and those foundational principals that make it great."
