Josiah Johnson (1884-1978) was a fourth-generation Henderson County native born from Irish immigrants.
With this rich and varied background, he followed in his father’s footsteps to become a farmer with a deliberate responsibility to the people and the county of Henderson.Working hard to earn a living and raising 13 children, he stocked his farm with animals.
