For the second year, Asheville earns the title as the No. 1 city in the U.S. for beer drinkers, according to SmartAsset.
With 25 microbreweries, 28.1 breweries per 100,000 residents and 23.4 bars per 100,000 residents, the city scores highly for its beer offerings and venues. In addition, the average Yelp score for breweries in Asheville is 4.29.
