Fire officials are still investigating the cause of a Dec. 14 fire and determining the extent of the damage at House of Raeford Farms’ Mocksville, N.C., plant.

With the investigation ongoing, the company’s management said it does not yet know when the plant will re-open.
However, employees will continue to be paid their normal wage until further notice, the company noted.

Employees should check House of Raeford’s Facebook page or website, or call the Mocksville Human Resources office at 336-751-4752 for updates.
