Following the release today of the Report to the President of the United States from the Task Force on Agriculture and Rural Prosperity at the American Farm Bureau Federation Convention in Nashville, the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) President and Connecticut Commissioner of Agriculture Steven K. Reviczky issued the following statement:

“We are encouraged by the focus on agriculture and rural America from the Administration in this report.  We look forward to engaging with the Administration and Congress to advance the economic vitality of our rural communities, especially in the areas of connectivity, a reliable workforce, and enhanced markets for producers – particularly abroad. It is critical we work together to ensure safe, affordable, and available food, as well as a thriving and livable rural America.”
