FDA says there will be leeway in selective enforcement of FSMA regulations

The Food Safety Modernization Act, passed in 2011, had been put into law by phases, with the last of those to be in place by Jan. 26. Sometimes a law’s not a law… sort of. Recognizing that there are still gaps to close, FDA announced this week that there will be room for selective enforcement as that deadline passes.
