Extension building ahead of schedule

Work on the new Lenoir County Cooperative Extension Office is ahead of schedule. Tammy Kelly, county extension director, said the $1.4 million building is scheduled to open June 28, maybe in time to host 4-H summer camps. It was thought last September the building would not be completed until about August or October this year, Kelly said.
