House Ag Chair: Attach cotton and dairy fixes to must-pass legislation

Congress should attach provisions to help cotton and dairy farmers to any must-pass bill before the farm bill comes up, House Agriculture Committee Chairman Michael Conaway, R-Texas, said here today.
The House included changes to the cotton and dairy programs in the disaster bill to help victims of hurricanes and wildfires it passed in December, but that bill has languished in the Senate.
