Local farmer profiled in documentary

N.C. filmmaker Andrew Brown has chronicled the restoration of a Surry County farm in his latest film, “Somewhere in Beulah Land.” The half-hour documentary was shown last week in a private screening at Aperture Cinema. The film follows farmers Kyle Montgomery and Nicole Stockburger as they bring back to life the turn-of-the-century farm started by Montgomery’s great-grandfather, Wesley York.
