Sushi-rice maker to create 300-plus jobs in North Carolina

A North Carolina-based company with a rice-packaging technique for sushi rolls plans 305 new jobs in the state over three years by expanding operations. Gov. Roy Cooper announced Thursday that RiceWrap Foods Corp. would invest $10 million in a facility in Butner, 30 miles (48 kilometers) north of Raleigh.
