Peterson announces new Agriculture Committee staff

House Agriculture Committee Ranking Member Collin Peterson today announced that Katie Zenk has joined the House Agriculture Committee Minority staff as Professional Staff.
“Katie will bring impressive policy knowledge to the Committee and will play an important role in developing policy for a new farm bill,” Peterson said. “I’m pleased to welcome her aboard.”
A Minnesota farm native, Zenk holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities and is in the process of completing graduate degrees in agricultural economics from Purdue University and business administration from Indiana University. Zenk previously interned with the Committee and spent the last six years covering farm and food policy with Land O’Lakes, Inc.
