Internet sales tax update

The U.S. Supreme Court has scheduled oral arguments for South Dakota v. Wayfair for April 17. The outcome of this case will determine whether or not states will be able to require on-line retailers to collect sales taxes on remote sales. Farm Bureau supports allowing states to require the collection of sales taxes on internet sales and has filed an Amici Curiae brief.
