Cattle:  At the livestock auctions held Tuesday in Mt. Airy and Shelby a total of 662 cattle and 33 goats were sold.  Compared to last week, slaughter cattle were unevenly steady.  Feeder steers were mostly 8.00 to 9.00 higher; bulls were mostly 2.00 to 4.00 higher; while heifers were mostly 4.00 to 6.00 lower.  Demand was moderate to good;
