Cotton farmers in the Carolinas now have a new tool to use in their fight against thrips. Thrips are common pests that cotton growers battle every year, especially in the early season. These thrips are less than 2 millimeters long and vary in color from yellow to dark brown. Thrips injury is a function of plant growth and thrips dispersal from maturing winter weeds to cotton.
