Grocery store chain Food Lion has entered into a transaction to purchase three Farm Fresh Food & Pharmacy stores in the Norfolk, Virginia, area from Supervalu Inc. for an undisclosed price. The stores are located in Virginia Beach and Hampton, Virginia and one store in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. The transaction is expected to close in May.
