Gildan Activewear Inc. plans to lay off 65 workers at a sock manufacturing facility in Hildebran, North Carolina, according to a filing with the North Carolina Department of Commerce. The layoffs will affect all distribution and some administrative positions, according to the filing. The expected layoff date is May 4, 2018.
