At the weekly livestock auctions held Wednesday at Norwood and North Wilkesboro 741 cattle and no goats were sold. Slaughter cows were mixed, $6.50 lower to $1.00 higher; bulls were mixed, $6.00 lower to $2.50 higher when compared to the previous sales.  Feeder steers were mostly $7.00 to $9.00 lower; heifers were $1.00 to $8.00 lower; bulls were mostly $7.00 lower.
