A Wilson veterinarian’s work to improve pigs’ health in the commercial swine production and pharmaceutical industries has been honored with an award from a national trade group. The American Association of Swine Veterinarians presented Dr. Eugene Nemechek with its technical services and allied industry Veterinarian of the Year award March 5 during an annual meeting in San Diego.
