Are you a farmer, agribusiness owner, food or beverage company or commodity representative interested in international trade?
Join the North Carolina Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services as we host the 2018 N.C. Agriculture Export Seminar at the Koury Convention Center at the Sheraton Greensboro Four Seasons Hotel, May 24 – 25. This conference will provide support and education to growers and agribusinesses interested in exporting.

“Ag exports are a significant contributor to our ag economy and will be equally important going forward,” said Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler. “It is important to remember that 95 percent of the world population lives outside the United States. Farmers and agribusinesses must have access to these global markets because they represent tremendous marketing opportunities, especially as our world population grows.”

Seminar topics include export requirements, logistics, finance and trade support. Ambassador Jim Cain, Cain Global Business Partners, will deliver the keynote address. Other speakers include Mike Hubbard, Economic Partnership of North Carolina; Missie Lindsey, Southern United States Trade Association; and Patti LaGuire, Euromonitor. Market briefings on Europe, China and South America/Caribbean are also on the agenda.

Seminar tickets are $100 and registration  is open. Deadline to register is Tuesday, April 24, 2018.
