Pesticide safety rule in effect

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency violated federal law when it delayed the worker protection safety rule to protect agriculture workers from exposure to pesticides, a federal court in California ruled on Wednesday. The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California granted summary judgment to a number of environmental groups and other plaintiffs who challenged the EPA's delay.
