Peterson announces new Agriculture Committee staff Story Date: 4/16/2018

House Agriculture Committee Ranking Member Collin Peterson today announced that Patrick Delaney will join the House Agriculture Committee Minority staff on Monday as Democratic Communications Director. “Patrick brings a broad range of food and agriculture policy communications experience to the Committee, having experience working within the row crop, specialty crop, and food industries,” Peterson said. “He will play a vital role in the Committee’s work on a new farm bill and I welcome him aboard.” Delaney comes to the Committee from the American Soybean Association, where he spent six and a half years as director of policy communication. Prior to that, he served for three and a half years as communications manager for the United Fresh Produce Association. Originally from Kansas City, Delaney holds a bachelor's degree in political and persuasive communication from George Mason University, and a master's degree in integrated marketing communication from West Virginia University.
