ICE to take comment on Henderson 287g agreement at public meeting Wednesday

Federal immigration authorities will meet with representatives from the Henderson County Sheriff's Office at a public meeting Wednesday morning to discuss the sheriff's 287g agreement with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.  The annual 287g Steering Committee meeting — which will begin in county courthouse at 10 a.m. — will provide the public with an opportunity to share their opinions of the program with ICE leaders and local law enforcement.
