Community tension stemming from recent federal immigration arrests in the county boiled over Wednesday during a meeting with Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents. The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office hosted its annual 287(g) steering committee meeting at Henderson County Courthouse.The meeting was to provide an overview for ICE’s work in Henderson County under the 287(g) program during the last fiscal year.
