RE:                 Ramaswamy Legacy at NIFA

The six-year term of Dr. Sonny Ramaswamy, Director of the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) at the U. S. Department of Agriculture, will come to an end on May 5, 2018.

As we bid farewell, we thought you might be interested in seeing a video that was recorded for the USDA-Research, Education, and Economics Legacy Project, and published November 21, 2016, about Dr. Ramaswamy. The recording is a conversation about NIFA and the outcomes that have occurred as a result of the investments made, changes made to internal processes, the challenges and opportunities he experienced as head of NIFA, his life and upbringing, and his leadership style.
