Tobacco manufacturers must place corrective statements on websites by June 18

The corporate websites of the Big 3 tobacco manufacturers will be required to have corrective statements posted beginning June 18, according to a federal court order issued Tuesday. The statements, which will be posted indefinitely, also affect the following cigarette brands' websites: Camel, Newport and Pall Mall for R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co.; Marlboro and Parliament for Philip Morris USA; and Kool and Winston for ITG Brands LLC.
