U.S. Rep. Mark Meadows swung a few baseball bats while learning the secret to making them Monday from a resurrected local business. Meadows toured the Young Bat Company in Fletcher Monday as part of his visit to area businesses. What looks to be simple house with a pile of wood out front on Jackson Road near Hoopers Creek is home to a family of wooden baseball bat manufacturers.
