North Carolina’s 9th Congressional District has been solid “red” since the 1960s, with Republicans holding firmly to the seat, even as the district boundaries have changed in recent years. This year, the district is drawing challengers not only from within the Republican Party, but also from a resurgent field of Democrats who believe they can flip the seat.
