Amid heightened trade tension with China, U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said the Trump Administration will protect soybean and pork farmers from bearing the brunt of the trade dispute. “If China unfairly targets our agricultural community or other areas we will defend our interests,” he told CNN’s Cristina Alesci. “We will protect our farmers, we will make sure they are not unfairly hurt in these trade disputes.”
