At the livestock auction held Thursday at Smithfield a total of 595 cattle and no goats were sold. Slaughter cows were mostly $2.00 to $5.00 lower; bulls were mixed $2.00 lower to $3.00 higher when compared to the previous sale.   Feeder cattle were $7.00 to $13.00 lower.  Demand was moderate with moderate buyer activity.
