At the two weekly livestock auctions held Monday at Canton and Siler City a total of 443 cattle and 54 goats were sold.  Compared to the previous sales, slaughter cattle were mostly steady to $5.00 lower.  Feeder cattle were mostly steady to $11.00 lower.
