As part of a study into how judges are selected in North Carolina, High Point University researchers polled residents about the issue. Legislators are considering various proposals to replace the election process now used to pick judges. For this High Point University Poll, the university's Survey Research Center polled 513 N.C. adults by phone Feb. 19-25. The margin of error is 4.3 percentage points.
