Pitts: Diverse group vying for open District 2 seat

The district includes the city’s most ambitious economic development and some of its poorest neighborhoods, and some feel left behind Ten people want to be the next Fayetteville City Council member representing District 2. The council is scheduled to make its decision June 11, according to Mayor Mitch Colvin. And the people of the district, which includes the city’s most ambitious economic development and some of its poorest neighborhoods, are watching and listening.
