The chemicals have been found in drinking water wells near the Chemours factory south of Fayetteville. A published report says the White House and the Environmental Protection Agency tried to block publication of a federal health study that says two industrial chemicals — both found in wells near a Bladen County chemical factory — are more dangerous to human health than previously thought.
