Cattle:  At the livestock auction held Monday in Siler City and Turnersburg (Canton was closed in observance of the Memorial Day holiday), a total of 805 cattle, 32 goats, and 10 sheep were sold.  Compared to last week, slaughter cows were mostly 3.00 to 5.00 higher; while bulls were mixed, 8.00 lower to 5.00 higher.
