Last week the NC Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services hosted a seminar for export-curious producers from across the Carolinas. NC Ag Commissioner Steve Troxler is fond of saying, “Hungry people are mean people,” and he says the job of keeping the world fed and happy is a growing challenge, but one that can be met with increasing exports.
