Cattle:  At the livestock auctions held Tuesday in Mount Airy and Shelby a total of 347 cattle, 3 goats and 8 sheep were sold.  Compared to last week, slaughter cows were mostly 1.00 to 2.00 higher; while bulls were mixed, 9.00 lower to 7.00 higher.
