A September 4-7 trade mission to Ontario, Canada, is ideal for new exporters interested in learning more about the top destination for U.S. exports of high-value agricultural products. Participants will tour major grocery chains and specialty gourmet stores, and meet one-on-one with food brokers, distributors and select specialty gourmet store buyers.

The Hong Kong International Wine and Spirits Fair on November 8-10 offers a huge potential for U.S. wines as the market share for French wine is declining. The fair is also a platform for promoting beer and other types of spirits. Registration deadline is August 31. Many foreign trade missions offer up to 50-percent reimbursement on travel costs for up to two company representatives including flight, hotel, meals and incidentals. Reimbursements are also available for promotional giveaway items, point of sale materials and more.
