Food companies can’t figure out what Americans want to eat

Food customers and buyers taking a look on the packaged meals aisles of giant grocery shops have reached the similar conclusion: There is not anything to purchase. The vintage shopper meals firms—makers of cereals, snacks, soups and condiments—are not the staples of pantries or portfolios. Shares of a few are down by means of a 3rd or extra over the last 12 months as strategies to boost sales fail, and customers embody recent meals and new manufacturers.
