Representative Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) has told reporters that he was ready to vote in favor of House Ag Chair Michael Conaway’s farm bill now that a vote for immigration reform is in place. The House Republican leadership plans to bring up two different immigration bills for votes next week, including a conservative measure authored by Representative Bob Goodlatte that the Freedom Caucus supports.
